I was born in Udine (Italy) and I hold a Master of Arts degree in Corporate Public Relations from the University of Udine in Gorizia (2007).
My Master thesis was entitled "Emotions, Trust, Relations: Measuring The Quality of Relationships Between Reason and Feeling".

I began my PhD studies in June 2008 at the Institute of Communication and Health, Università della Svizzera Italiana where I also work as a research assistant.
I am interested in new technologies, mobile applications, the Internet and social media as powerful communication tools, and my work combines my passion for real world innovative applications with his interest in scientific research in the health communication domain.
Currently I am working on projects focussing on testing strategies to change physical activity behavior through persuasive messaging and communication technologies.
My PhD topic is "Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) effects in Physical Activity Communication through new media and technologies".
