Application requirements
To apply, candidates will submit the following materials (in English or in one of the main languages of Switzerland). Please note that these requirements can be completed by successfully applying for a Ph.D. position in a research module:
- Proof of the candidate’s MA (or equivalent) degree.
- A transcript of the candidate’s coursework from his or her MA (or equivalent) degree.
- An exposé of a doctoral project (5-10 pages).
- A short description of previous research (2-4 pages).
- Very good English language skills.
- An MA degree or the equivalent (Magister, Diplom) in communication sciences, psychology, sociology, medicine, nursing, or social marketing.
Late admission will be possible for candidates with a sufficient level of research skills on decision of the steering committee. Equivalence of prior postgraduate coursework may be granted on a case-by-case basis, allowing candidates for late admission to be exempted from courses they may have missed. Mandatory readings or courses may also be required to reach the level of other students.
